Maxine Guess is an established Canadian film and television actress who has been working in the business for over 35 years, commencing at the tender age of age 8. Maxine's first audition was a nationwide open call  for the Golden Globe and  Oscar nominated film Pennies From Heaven. She was offered the role, but turned it down in order to figure skate. Two years later she returned to the biz and the rest is history.

Maxine has appeared on major network TV shows such as The X-Files, The Commish, The OuterLimits, Continuum (for Showcase), Rogue with Thandie Newton  (for Direct TV), RUSH with  Tom Ellis and Harry Hamlin (for USA Networks) and various Lifetime/Hallmark/ Showtime MOWs such as Strange Justice: The Clarence Thomas Story (playing Angela Wright), Our America (playing Mrs. Shaw), Hallmark’s Christmas movie  called, “The Christmas Shepherd” with Teri Polo, Sins of The Mother with Jill Scott and a US-SAG National Commercial spot for “Fidelity Investments”, which  aired for 2.5 yrs and feature films with Roger Rees, Linda Hunt, Robin Bartlett, Mare Winningham, Robert Knepper (from Prison Break), Lorenzo Lamas, etc. Maxine Guess has worked with Mandy Patinkin, Billy Wirth, Mos Def, Sharon Stone, James Earl Jones, Nicole Ari Parker, Michael Moriarty (from LAW and Order original), Billy Crudup, Jennifer Connelly, Delroy Lindo, Vanessa Williams (from Melrose Place and Soul Food), Vincent D’Onofrio, Gregory Hines, Elizabeth Berkley, Eva Larue, Reuben Santiago-Hudson, Lee Majors, Sidney Poitier, Farah Fawcett, James Coburn, Johnny Mathis, Gregory Hines, and so many more!  Maxine has worked with many established directors, producers (Michael Paseornek, Jerry Bruckheimer, Joel H.
